About Claudia

Thank you for visiting my website. I am a trusts and estates attorney and mediator serving clients throughout the Bay Area, including the counties of Alameda, Marin, Santa Clara, San Francisco and San Mateo. I was born and raised in San Francisco and I am a proud alumna of Lowell High School. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii, and my Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA. I hold an LL.M. in Taxation with Honors from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. I am licensed to practice law in California and Hawaii. I also serve as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law teaching courses on estate planning, conservatorships and mediation. When not practicing law, I enjoy cooking with my husband for our three perpetually hungry children.
My goal is to provide the highest quality of legal services with the care and thoughtfulness you would expect from a trusted professional. I consider it my personal responsibility to listen to your goals and provide sound legal advice to achieve those goals.
As a natural result of working exclusively in the trusts and estates arena, I also developed a trusts and estates mediation practice. As a mediator, my goal is to help parties achieve a solution they control rather than leave the decision making power up to a judge or third party who has no personal stake in the outcome. My approach to mediation draws from my extensive background in civil litigation, estate planning and work for the Probate Department of the Alameda County Superior Court. I offer parties the depth of knowledge that comes from 20 years as a practicing attorney.
